Think of this interview as working alongside a writing coach who
helps you express what’s in your heart.

Our questions were designed to help you organize your thoughts. Your answers will be transformed into a warm, authentic story that reflects your voice regarding your situation,
and hope for finding a living kidney donor who could end your wait.

Your search for a living kidney donor begins by helping others understand
who you are—not just your medical condition.

What to Expect

You’ll be asked to answer a series of questions about your kidney disease and hope for
finding a living kidney donor. This process often takes 20-40 minutes.
When you’re finished, our Story Coach will create your first draft.

Review & Edit

You’ll be able to review and edit your story—and ask your story coach
to make it more hopeful, conversational, or concise.

You’ll also be able to download your story when you feel its just right.

Your Privacy Matters

Your responses are only used to create your story about your transplant need and donor search.

Avoid including confidential medical information that you would not want shared publicly. Only include details that you are comfortable sharing with family members, friends—and potential kidney donors.
